When will I breakeven?
Breakeven will depend on your ability to execute our systems, and you abilities to run a clinic, including managing staff, service delivery and sales and marketing programs. Essentially there are too many variables to predict this. As part of the process you will be required to draft a business plan that will guide your clinic operations and give you your own guide to when you should achieve profitability.

I need more customers. What kind of referral programs do you have?
This is often the first question that is asked of us. Though it is important to be able to bring new patients to receive your care, this is not the only reason you should decide to join Physiomed. We have multiple streams of patient referrals that have been built on the Economies of Scale model. Our marketing agents promote Physiomed to our Corporate customers and book patients directly into our franchisees’ scheduler. We have a partnership with the second largest EMR (electronic medical records) company in Canada that manages patient programs for MDs. They also book patient directly into our franchisees’ scheduler. And we also have a substantial stock of marketing programs within the Operations Manual – your Area Developer will work with you to determine the best mix and timing of all three elements to bring new patients into your clinic.

What kinds of services do I need to offer to have a Physiomed clinic?
Our core services are based on Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage and health products. In addition, we are actively looking at other healthcare services to add into our clinics. Once we determine a product or services suitability we will often test it in one or two clinics to analyse the results and then create treatment protocols and marketing materials (if appropriate) to roll-out to all clinics.

I am an existing clinic that is converting to a Physiomed Franchise. Am I required to change my name?
In order to take advantage of the group marketing, name recognition and most of all, the recognition of the values that our Brand stands for, you must transition the name of you clinic to Physiomed, usually within 12-18 months. Clinics often start with both their old name and Physiomed together so that customers understand the transition, and then slowly phase out the use of the old name.

Can you help me find staff to work in my clinic?
Yes, we have recruiting programs and compensation and benefit structures to help you attract and retain top talent. You will always make the decision of who you hire for your clinic. Some of our clinics actually share some specialized staff as they’re starting out until they get to the scale that they require a full-time staff member in house. This is one of the benefits of being a Physiomed Franchisee.

What kind of training can I expect?
We provide initial training in our methods and systems to get you immediately immersed in our business model. This is supported by regular franchisee and Clinic Director training and other more functional specific programs. But we go well beyond "training". We have built ongoing "Learning" into the DNA of or organization. Sharing, challenging, piloting new ideas, leveraging ideas. Healthcare practitioners get together to participate in ‘rounds’ where they learn about new therapies, protocols and treatments. Your Area Developer or Area Manager will be a constant source of great ideas and learning as they share new and proven ideas across clinics in their area.
